SOWiL Limited has the expertise of carrying out feasibility studies, detailed design and execution of tunnelling works through varied strata conditions from Hard rock to lithomarge clay formations. One such project for providing consultancy for six tunnels, three of which are of approximately 2 km length each, on Kumarghat-Agartala, and Lumding-Silchar sections in the North-Eastern region for the N.F. Railway has been completed. N.F. Railway has awarded another assignment for design of section and location of 16 tunnels of length from 300 m to 1.6 km on the Badarpur-Silchar rail section.
